The wait is finally over! 8123 Fest is making its return to our hometown. Figured I’d check in and give you a little more insight into what this fest will be like. The big change is that it is now a two day festival. Not a pre show and then a main fest it is two full fest days at the same location. Day one we will be playing American Candy in full to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the record. We will also be playing Self-Titled in full to mark the end of an era. Day two of the fest we will be performing a set hitting on all the chapters of the band from the setlist staples to rare stuff.
The lineup is pretty amazing and each of the days offers a slightly different kind of show. All of the bands will be announced on September 9th along with 2 day tickets. For now you can just get a bundle! All of the side events will be announced at a later date. You can expect the classic chaotic after parties in a new venue which we are really stoked about. We will also have side shows from other artists and we might join in. Something pretty cool is in the works. Trying to get a lot of old friends back together for this.
We will have a pop up store starting on the Thursday, also working on doing more things along the lines of the pop up bar and brunch we had at the last fest!
I can’t wait to see you all out in Arizona. This festival really is 8123’s comicon. Everything The Maine all in one place. Can’t wait to see you all in AZ!
